Geodes
Geodes are round or oval-shaped rocks that appear ordinary on the outside but hold a hidden world of crystals or mineral formations inside. They form when cavities in volcanic or sedimentary rock—such as gas bubbles in lava—slowly fill with mineral-rich water. Over time, minerals like quartz, calcite, or amethyst crystallize within the hollow space, creating a natural surprise sealed inside stone. The outer shell is often rough and weathered, while the inside can sparkle like a miniature cave of treasures.
